The Year of Breaking Through

The Year of Breaking Through
On November 1, 2025, I believe I heard the word of the Lord in my heart for the coming year: “2026 is the Year of Breaking Through. So do not go back. Break | through.”

This isn’t just about any one particular area of life—it’s about becoming Healthy, Fit, and Free in ALL areas of life by God’s power, not our old patterns.

Psalm 18:29 reminds us that with God we can run through obstacles and leap over walls

And in 2 Samuel 5:17–25, God reveals Himself as the One who bursts through what’s been blocking us—like water breaking through a dam.

The call for 2026: stop returning to what didn’t work, stop rebuilding what God is calling you to break through (!), and step forward with faith and obedience. 🙌

Christian and Non-Christian Women's Top 3 Reasons to Lose Weight

Christian and Non-Christian Women's Top 3 Reasons to Lose Weight
Explore the motivations behind weight loss for Christian women, "Believers," versus non-Christian women, or "Pre-Believers." For both groups, the common incentives include improving physical appearance, enhancing physical health, and boosting self-confidence. These elements reflect broader personal goals, societal influences, and health priorities that are commonly pursued by women.

Christian women, however, have additional motivations that intertwine spiritual dimensions with our weight loss endeavors. These include honoring God with our bodies, being good stewards of our health, and reflecting God's image to act as a positive influence. This spiritual approach distinguishes our motivation, focusing more on serving the Lord and being a blessing to our families rather than merely achieving personal or societal standards.

This approach is central to specialized programs like the "Weightloss Without Willpower" sisterhood, which emphasizes inner transformation through spiritual, mental, and emotional transformation, enabling us to realize our potential both spiritually and physically. This approach marks a stark contrast with typical weight loss programs that often neglect the spiritual component.
